第４日目10月31日（木）の饗宴の儀 天皇陛下の即位を祝う「饗 きょう 宴えん の儀」の４回目が31日午後、皇居・宮殿で行われました。 駐日外国大使夫妻や各界代表ら691人が参列。天皇、皇后両陛下は皇族方と共に、 宮殿「春秋の間」に続き、「豊明殿」で招待客と歓談されました。 天皇陛下、日出ずる偉大な国日本 の第126代目の天皇陛下御即位とい う慶事にあたり、各国大使閣下を代 表し、祝賀のご挨拶を申し上げます ことを大変光栄で名誉なことと存じ ます。 天皇陛下は、先のすべての天皇同 様に、日本のこころのリーダーでした。 日本人は、長く続く世界で一番古い 君主国に感謝しています。 私たちは、新しい令和の時代の天 皇陛下のもと、日本に奉仕すること に誇りを持っております。令和とい う言葉は皇室の短歌の歌集として名 高い万葉集から来ています。 ８世紀の奈良時代に編集されたも のです。令は、「輝く」「美しい」とい う意味で、和は「調和、平等、公平」 という意味です。日本の国の精神を 象徴しています。天皇陛下の先のす べての天皇も、先祖代々に受け継が れてきた務めとして、世界の自然、 平和と繁栄を願うために短歌を詠ん で来られました。 私たちは、天皇陛下、皇室ご一家 の皆様、日本の勇敢な国民の皆様の 幸福と平和を心より願っております。 令和元年10月31日 駐日外交団長 サンマリノ共和国特命全権大使 マンリオ カデロ Your Majesty, I have the great honor and privilege, to read this congratulatory message on behalf of all my Esteemed Ambassadors and colleagues in this auspicious occasion of Your Majesty’s official enthronement, as the 126 th Emperor of Japan, the Great country of the Rising Sun. Your Majesty as all Your predecessors were the spiritual leader of Japan. The Japanese people are grateful to the Ancient Dynasty of Japan continuing for long period of time, the oldest Dynasty of the world. We take pride in serving in Japan under Your Majesty, in the new era of Reiwa. The Words Reiwa are from Manyoshu, celebrated Imperial collection of poetries, compiled in the Nara Period going back to the 8th century. Rei meaning “brilliant” and “beautiful”, Wa meaning “harmony, equality and fairness,” symbolizing the national spirit of Japan. All Emperors before Your Majesty have as ancestral duties composed poetries while offering prayers to Nature, Peace, and Prosperity of the world. We all wish Your Majesty, your Family and all the brave people of Japan to continue to prosper happiness and peace.
